After you have submitted this request, we will provide an estimate of costs and timeline. We will contact you by phone or email to answer your questions. When you decide to accept our estimate and wish to proceed, we will send a link to a more detailed form for completion of our final itinerary.

Pricing
Basic Services start at $825, and includes scattering at a site local (within 250 miles) to our headquarters in Scandia, Minnesota.
All scattering services include any research and filing of permits or obtaining permission, as needed, and document filing after the scattering. Confirmation of the GPS location, a 360 degree “virtual view” of the site, and a panorama still photo of the site is also included.
For destinations outside of our local area, pricing is based on destination(s), mileage, time, and materials. Additional costs may include fees that may be required for a scattering permit, if needed, video of the scattering, a video showing portions of the hike in (if applicable), and a full color map of the scatter site, suitable for framing.
For most of our clients, the cost of our personalized services is far less than the cost of a traditional burial and funeral.
- Pricing is "cost plus." We charge for travel expenses and permits, as required, plus our fee.
- Prices start at $825 for land scattering within 250 miles of our office in Scandia, Minnesota. Locations farther from Scandia incur additional charges.
- For wilderness trips that require extensive hiking or canoeing to reach the scattering destination, time is counted in our costs, as well as distance.
- When individuals are commingled, we add the cost of travel as though it were a single person in addition to the time needed to scatter and to complete the required paperwork for the number of individuals who are commingled.
- Scattering in multiple locations may require multiple trips, depending on the destinations, with total travel expenses considered as part of the cost.

Land Casting, Tree Root Cradling, River Journey
This beautiful park, a local favorite, nestles alongside the St. Croix River, one of the original 8 Wild and Scenic Rivers. It hosts a diverse variety of wildlife and lies in the transition zone of pine forest, hardwood forest, and oak savanna. This area was home to nomadic people 6000 years ago and was integral to the modern history of the state of Minnesota.
