Cremains Scattering
Cremains scattering can be a a desirable and cost-conscious alternative to traditional burial, but not everyone can perform it and not everyone wants to. Our service is available for those who cannot.

Services
Dad's Ashes performs custom scattering services for your loved one when you are unable to do so yourself.
How Dad's Ashes Can Help
Dad’s Ashes can assist you with cremains scattering in the US and Canada, fully customized or on periodic trips to desirable locations such as National Parks and other popular destinations.
Our service includes procurement of any permits, permissions, or environmental notices, video and photo documentation, registration of the scattering or burial location, and custom services and ceremonies.
What Happens After Cremation?
Dad’s Ashes' mission is to help you answer that all-important question.
We are here to help you get your loved one to a final resting place that is meaningful to you or to them, and to make sure it is done right.
Options for cremated remains are much broader than a traditional burial, and that simple fact can leave a loved one's ashes in limbo.
Scattering is a choice many folks would like to make, but not everyone has family or friends to carry out those wishes. Age, lack of children, inability to travel, or lack of desire to handle final remains all contribute to cremains being left on a shelf, in a storage shed or garage, or even abandoned at a funeral home.
Our team will handle all permissions, permits, documentation, and transport to your desired location. And when we’re done, you can visit any time you wish, virtually. Just play the movie and visit. It’s that simple.
Dad's Ashes strives for environmentally conscious methods. We do not want your last act (or that of your loved one) to be one of harm. Read more on how we make cremains environmentally friendly.

The kind folks at Dad’s Ashes took care of everything, at a time when we had so many other things to worry about. It was such a relief to have someone else take care of this!
My husband wanted his ashes in a lovely forest in the mountains. I can’t travel to such places and we have no kids to take this on. The best part of this service—I have a video of the site where he is now, so I can put it on the tv and visit anytime. Miss you, hon.
My friend was disowned by his family, with only his friends there for him at the end. We didn't have the funds for an extravagant service and burial but we wanted to do something nice for him. He loved the Boundary Waters area, so we asked the folks at Dad's Ashes to help us get his remains there for his final trip to the wilderness. The cost was much more affordable than a burial, and the folks at DA were very caring and accommodating. J is now at peace in his favorite place in the world.
When our beloved Dad died we used this service to honor his memory. We wanted something special for him without having to worry about astronomical costs, which Dad would rather we spend on the living. We were thrilled to find that we could visit his resting place any time by viewing the movie provided after his scattering.
